About us
In 1985, Jimmy purchased JJ Malane’s from his former business partner and the saloon’s namesake. Malane’s went away, but JJ’s remained, and a West Plaza fine dining icon was born.

Beautiful and cozy yet elegant restaurant with delightful entree options and an extensive wine list. I come here especially for the brussel spouts. I've yet to find a restaurant that makes them better.
Had a great meal there with a business associate. I had the lamb chops, he had the fillet. Both entrées were very good. Drinks were good. Great service highly recommend JJs
First time in new location
Great service great food.
Rack of lamb was perfect , Halibut special was cooked perfectly, AhiTuna was fantastic with side of snow peas and mushrooms, the side was so good it could have been a main course...
Spent our 38th anniversary here and first time back since the fire. It was everything we remembered. Just a fantastic experience. We a are so thankful that you all have remained in business and are still an icon of KC. Congrats and thank you.
Valentine's weekend date night!! We ordered a beet salad, a roasted cauliflower salad, tenderloin, and 8oz. Filet. Everything was cooked to perfection! I ordered my filet rare and my husband ordered his medium rare...cooked perfectly. We also had the spaghetti squash and Brussel sprouts, 2 must order sides. The Brussels were not crispy but still satisfying to the palet. However, what makes a dining experience is the wait staff. Our waiter, Rick was attentive and patient. He knew the menu and what to recommend. He was personable, on point, and truly enjoys his job. We will definitely be back.
